Elevanse is a women-led medical innovation company developing new non-surgical approaches for pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Its first product in development, Vanta, is a self-inserted, inflatable vaginal support device designed to adapt to each woman’s anatomy. The device is being designed to be inserted using a compact applicator and gently inflated in place to provide internal support. Elevanse is focused on addressing commonly reported challenges with existing devices, including fit, comfort, maintenance burden, and the need for repeated clinical visits. The goal is to create a more user-centered, self-managed option that aligns with women’s daily lives.

Vanta is currently in prototype development and regulatory planning. It has not received FDA clearance and is not commercially available yet.

Because Women Deserve Better Care

“Elevanse is committed to advancing patient-centered innovation in pelvic health through thoughtful design, clinical rigor, and ongoing community engagement.”

About

Elevanse emerged from the Stanford Biodesign Fellowship program, where clinical immersion in OB/GYN and pain management clinics led to the identification of unmet needs in pelvic organ prolapse care. The company continues to collaborate with clinicians and women living with pelvic organ prolapse to inform product development and ensure that patient perspectives remain central to the design process.
