Vaginal Rejuvenation: Get the Facts

”Evolution in VAGINAL AND INTIMATE healthcare is one of the greatest challenge’s women face in the on-going battle to attain equal rights for our gender.”

Vaginal rejuvenation is a confusing term. What does it really mean? Is it surgery? Is it energy based treatments such as laser or radio frequency, which more accurately should be called vaginal tissue regeneration? Is it repairing damage inside the vagina, tightening the vagina, making the vaginal opening prettier? Confusion abounds. While vaginal rejuvenation is a very casually tossed about expression referring to a variety of treatments intending to generate physiologic changes in a woman’s vagina, there is a considerable difference between nonsurgical treatments and surgical procedures. Whether a woman is struggling with sexual dysfunction (emotional or physical), low self-esteem related to how her vagina looks of feels, atrophy (dry vaginal tissues), laxity (large vaginal space), or urinary incontinence, there is help.

Women deserve to be fully informed.

Below are links to informative studies, clarifying articles, and recordings by innovative experts, breaking down the differences between energy based vaginal procedures and surgical procedures, vaginoplasty (tightening and rejuvenation of the vagina for vaginal laxity), perineoplasty (aesthetic repair of vaginal opening with tightening and elevation), and posterior colporrhaphy (posterior repair).
